The United Methodist Church of Mantua provides worship opportunities every Sunday
9:30 am – 10:30 am

Sunday Services

Our weekly Sunday service features the church’s choirs and a children’s message. Organ music accompanies traditional hymns from the United Methodist Hymnals and praise songs from the “Faith We Sing” songbook.

Ash Wednesday Service

Held at 7:00 pm

Each year the United Methodist Church of Mantua has a Soup Supper before the Ash Wednesday Service.

Holy Thursday or Maundy Thursday Service

Held at 7:00 pm the Thursday before Easter

The United Methodist Church of Mantua welcomes all to our Holy Thursday Service,  the first of the three days of solemn remembrance of the events leading up to and immediately following the crucifixion of Jesus.

Ecumenical Good Friday Service

Friday before Easter at Various Locations

All are welcome to attend Good Friday Service with the congregations and pastors of several churches in the Mantua, Wenonah, and Woodbury.

Easter Services

Held Easter Morning at 6:30 am and 9:30am

Each year the United Methodist Church of Mantua holds an Outdoor Easter Sunrise service at 6:30 am and an Easter worship service at 9:30 am.  Everyone is invited to attend!

Ecumenical Thanksgiving Eve Service

Wednesday before Thanksgiving at 7:00 pm – Various Locations

Come celebrate Thanksgiving with the congregations and pastors of several churches in Mantua, Wenonah, and Woodbury.

Christmas Eve Service

December 24 at 7:00 pm & 11:00 pm

The United Methodist Church of Mantua has two Christmas Eve Services.  The first service held at 7:00 pm is a Family Candlelight Service.  The 11:00 pm service is a quieter traditional candlelight service.  Everyone is welcome to attend both services.
